Hahaha!!! Squad 4 had the most attendance today!! ^^ good job guys xD keep it up and one day we'll be the biggest squad, muahahaha!! xD well, today we had full attendance of 7 people =)

We started with parade, and then praise and worship by L/cpl Jessica and Cpl Nic..nice job =) and since it was the 4th week, we didnt have bible class and badge class..So, right after pnw we had squad activity. We were supposed to have captain ball training on 4th weeks but since Sergeant Anson couldnt come last week to give us a talk on 'presentation skills', we did it today. We learnt that 50% of good presentation skills is Body Language, 40% on tone and 10% on ideas. So, even if we talk crap or rubbish, with our body language and tone, we can make people believe us.Well, we're not encouraging you to crap, just a point ya =) Some examples of good body language are eye contact, hand gestures, smiles and attire(but doesnt apply to BB). for tone is your intonation and not talking too fast or too slow and lastly, ideas must be logical. To test what we have learnt, Sergeant gave us 5 minutes to think of what to present. Well, L/cpl Marcus talked about chess, good, and darren talked about the changing world whereas Kai Xian talked about his dumb school xD all three did well and for Avril, Josiah and Floyd, they will be doing it next week. =X

After that, we had games...!!! Firstly, we played the "bom game". Our groups we're Digi, Nike, Mamee, Coca-cola, Halls and Bak kut teh. We say our team name, our motto and bomb other groups!!! And we also played copy the person next to you..It was complicated tho xD and lastly, the number game. Now we understand what is pro presentation skill after those games organised by Sergeant =D

Well, we had a "kawad bunga" of some kind by Sergeant too. It was fun and some of us got the chance to learn ke kiri and kanan pusing semasa berjalan =D thanks Sergeant. We dismissed after that and the day was over =D

Important announcements:
-tonight there was a talk about Understanding the Youth Rebellion for parents and kids at 8:00 pm by Bro.Richard Chong Kon Chu
-tomorrow there is a talk for youth members at night so youth on the afternoon will be cancelled. You can invite your friends to join us too
-next week only seniors have bb, and the attire is BB Anniversary t-shirt

Yeah at last me turn to blog ,this in my first blog so pls give some comment.

Today attendance not so good cuz both josiah and sgt anson didn't come n sgt fong fei gei, say that today ajar us how to presentation skill training. Booo sama dia boo !!

As our parade, sgt Lois command ,praise n worship song lead by Josh ong 2 of our sq backup
after singing, bible class uncle Mike n uncle Butt Wah class combine.Now is badge class teach by Cheng Fong topic:safety in house got 3 category i)electrical ii)kitchen iii)fire.Sq activiti combine with sq 6 play game(so funny). Yeah no drill play game corporal Joshua inchange sq vs sq vs primer n we get last.

Pls pray of josiah & anson that they'll come next week. (*me don't know short form sorry)

Woohoo, my first time blogging in like ages @@ had to ask Ta how to even set up the blog stuffs, haha...

Anyway, I was late last week cuz of college talks, and by the time i reached there, i was just in time to see Kai Xian present his badge class work =)
The title was somewhat like Safety on the Road @@
Well, he explained it pretty well, but his presentation skills were....haha, can be improved =p

Which brings us to our sq activity this coming week, PRESENTATION SKILLS TRAINING!!! =)
P.S - please rmb to bring your sq books and prepared to present random stuff to ur sq members >.<

Josiah was the only one absent this week
Hopefully this coming week, we'll have full attendance!!

The 1st day of badge class in 2010

Today attendance is fine.
All ppl got come.
We are very happy at this day because we can attend our 1st badge class in 2010 year.

Our 1st badge class is safety, than fizikal training, than blar blar.....
In the 1st badge we have know that how accident always "laku" at the road..
The 1st reason is the driver drunk and drive the car until 120km/j than "billabong"

20th March 2010

Today's attendance was fine. All of us came except Josiah coz he went to Thailand with his family. Plus today we had LOTS of new members. After parade, we had praise and worship. Darren led the worship with 3 backup singers, 2 of which are frm squad 4: Marcus and Kai Xian. Squad 4 is so proud to have 3 members in the worship team ^^! We had bible class after that and Rev. Kuan showed us a movie based on The Life Of Moses. Sadly, we will not have badge class till April coz officers haven't discuss 'bout it yet. After bible class, we had squad activity together with the new members led by Anson. We played a game that greatly strengthen our bond. After squad activity was drill. Sergeant Lois led the normal members and the other two Sergeants taught the Pesta drill team. Finally........ CAPTAIN BALLLL!!!!! We managed to draw against squad 5 and TRASH squad 1 without much planning !!! ^^ It was tiring though, then we jogged back to church for dismissal.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• For those who want to go to the Pesta pls meet Jing Fong(dunno how to spell his name) for registration & form.
• Next week no BB coz Richard's sis getting married in church^^
• 1st Sat of April wear FULL MUFTI coz 1st Sun of April is ENROLLMENT DAY. Wear CEREMONIAL (full uniform with tie) on Sunday.

Annual Camp!!!

Its time to post about the best time of the year in 1st Kajang!! Im so proud to be the one to post ^^
We gathered at church on Saturday 13th March at 9.00 am to wait for the bus and fall in. Of course we sang the Anchor song with Sgt Ric as the commander. This camp was a relax camp so everyone enjoyed ourselves. Sgt asked us to call him 'boss' xD So we started the journey on bus. after a few stops and many restless hours, we reached the campsite!!! We falled in according to squads and soon, lunch arrived. We kept our semangat ke-squad-an and ate together because we knew we were going to be separated into groups T.T then we also washed our plates together and for that, our sq ldr praised us =P darren had stomachache so we helped him wash his plate..Luckily he is well now.. There were 5 groups..Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Elite.Marcus was put to Bravo, Josiah-Elite, Avril-Charlie, Floyd-Bravo, Kai Xian-Delta, Darren-Alpha. We were sad but we tried to help our groups. We had the ice breaking games after that. We got into pairs and had to hold hands back to back and pull each other up. This camp's objective was to promote Unity among members.^^ This game really helped us realise we need unity to go through obstacles. Then we had the "Longest, Tallest" game xD Bravo won, followed by Alpha and Charlie. So Delta and Elite had to clean up the rooms for the two nights.

We were supposed to go through the obstacle course after that but it rained heavily so we replaced it with free time. The members played cards and sang songs during that time. At night, we gathered in the hall to have dinner and after that praise and worship led by Alpha group =) then games conducted by Bravo and Pastor Joe shared a meaningful message about Unity..we dismissed at 10 and had Squad activity. Private matters discussed so sorry..=(

Woke up and gathered for morning excercise at 7 led by Sgt Lim..Squad 4!!! ^^ haha. after that we had breakfast and worship by him also. Pastor Joe preached again about unity and he gave each group an alphabet from the word "UNITY" and asked us to show what they mean. Alpha-T, Bravo-Y, Charlie-I, Delta-U, Elite-N..Photos later k? =D after that, lunch and we had our surprise trip to the Malacca Zoo and the Bee Museum o.O in the zoo, we had to take pictures of al the different types of animals we see. We had alot of fun there and at the Bee Museum, we tasted many kinds of honey and obtained some information about the bees.We also had a chance to buy some honey too. Many members bought the honey that can help our skin =X When we came back, we were supposed to try the obstacle course again but in rained too..so we had free time..again..but we sure had alot of fun ^^ at night, Avril and Anson had to go back because Anson had Chemistry exam and Avril had music exam the next day..

Since I went back that time..I didnt know what happened..Kai Xian's gonna post about the third day..Even though I joined the camp for only two days but i really enjoyed myself ^^ you gotta agree with me right? =D Remember to thank the PICs yea..byes =)

Squad 4 forever..

Third Day

Wah at the night of the second day we all go night walk.. Boss taught us a lot during the night walk.The most important thing is UNITY After we finish our night walk, Boss gave us a chance to play anything u like until 2.00am. So good! ^^ All of the juniors were in 3 rooms..Me, kok wei, josiah's room.We played "Cho Dai Di". The Juniors also knew how to play Cho dai di.. So Pro..

At The third day in the morning we all woke up and ate breakfast... After tat we finally got to try the obstacles course!! Then L/cpl Anita was our ldr... All of us followed her instructions.. Cos we must believe in her And this is UNITY!!! After we went through the obstacle course we had our lunch and then we all headed back to home sweet home ^^ We also played Cho dai di in bus Cool.. ^^

Annual Camp details
Date : 13-15 March (3 day 2 night camp)
Venue : Ayer Keroh campsite, Malacca
Things to bring : you can get the things to bring list from anita, please bring your mufti T-shirt too, you dont need to bring full uniform.
Time: 13 march, gather at church before 9am, please be punctual. until 15 march at 4pm, please inform your parents to fetch you.
Dress code : when you come to church at 13 march, please wear casual clothes, any T-shirt and pants (no jeans), and sports shoe (please wear socks that can be seen).
other notes:
- girls(well only to Avril =.=) please dont bring pants that are shorter than your knees, dont bring sleeve-less shirts, no high heels.
