And So it begins!!!

so we had our parade!
after that
we had PnW session with Pte. Josh Ong as our songleader!!
we sang, Hari Ini, Here I am to worship, and This is how we overcome!!

we had Squad Activity
combined with Squad 4!
we at 1st
played with
"Say the bad things about blah blah blah"
but ppl dun want to say bad things =(
so we change it to dit dit dit bomb
but got topic
again, not successful
in the end, we play the original dit dit dit bomb =x

after that

Drill
so we all separated into 3 groups.

We had Physical Training!
we started with a warm up leaded by Lee Kian Yang,
after that, was running around for like, about, 6 times?
after that
we did PUSH-UPS
MAN THAT WAS TIRING!(yeah la yeah la I know =.= I din do okay, but I see you guys are tired =x)

was
sit-up? lol I dunno the name
each person must do 3 sets
one set=25 times =.=
after that
was
Chair-up
that was ALSO tiring =x
after that we dismiss and went home, for those who went to Semenyih Church for Soular Express, or Mudun Methodist Church for Worship Revival, stayed back la =x

Announcements-

• Please do note that the BB 41st Anniversary's time is changed to 21st of August, please come as it is a another milestone made by 1st Kajang Company.
• Next week, which is the 31st of July, which is also the 5th week of the month, we're having a Gotong Royong, please bring your gloves and a plastic bag. Please come to show that we BB are that brilliant!!!
• For Anniversary PnW team, every time after Dismissal, we have practice. And also every 1st Sunday of the Month.
  
• It is a blessing to see all Squad 3 members involved in PnW, exception of Floyd(but actually he can be involved in LCD)
• For those who helped as volunteers at the Hymns of Love concert by 3rd Kajang Company, we have a buffet dinner with 3rd Kajang Company, please wear the Black 40th Anniversary shirt, thank you

n 4th week no captain ball but physical push up 20, sit up 20, chair up 20, skipping rope 80

Full attendance for our squad again! hurray!! Parade, as usual. We had our Asst. Sq Ldr Josiah Ng song lead and play guitar at the same time for the 1st time! After that, we had bible class where we learned to use the resources God gave us or it will be taken away. Later, we presented our not so hard worked sketch for environmental conservation badge class where 1 team did about pollution and the other about destroying wildlife & trees. Primer Han Jon gave all of us 15/20 marks for the sketch. YAY!! Next, we had squad activity lead by Asst. Sq Ldr Josiah Ng to share about what we did during the Mid-Year School Holidays. We had too much things to share and was told off sternly by Sgt. Richard because we were late for drill XO For drill, we learned to be more disciplined and to be quicker. Finally, dismissal as usual.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

a) There is a special program on 31st July. Bowling at Metropoint, Kajang. 12-4pm. RM15 per pax, lunch included, McD. Those who are coming, tell L/CPL Marcus by 7th July, Wednesday.

b) There is going to be a new NCO council starting in August. NCOs, Sq ldrs and Asst. Sq ldrs pls attend.

c) Don't forget to train for Physical Training at home, not much time to do in BB.

d) BB 41st Anniversary PnW team will have worship practice every Saturday after BB until 6.45pm and on 1st Sunday of the month after church service & refreshment. Practice will be off on the 17th July coz of church camp in Melaka.

e) We need 9 members for squad drill competition in December! Pls try to recruit.

The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia 19th National Pesta Penang 2010

YO!!! Sry 4 late post.

During the Mid-year school holidays (11th-15th June), some members from our company went to 19th Pesta in Penang. We left for Penang at 12 MIDNIGHT!!! ya, you heard me, 12 am to 4.40 am in the morning. We took a bus to our main campsite, St. Xavier's Institution(SXI). We lepak while waiting for Sir Tan Chee Hong to register us. We went to our respective kampung/dorm, girls in Convent Light School(CLS), boys in Hutchings Primary & Secondary School(HS). We tried to sleep, but was too wide awake so we polished our uniform parts till BLING! BLING!

For the 1st day, we had opening parade, where the officers in charge brief us about camp rules & regulations. We also had Drill Competition by top teams from each state. They even drill when it was raining heavily!! Late in the evening, we had our official Opening Ceremony with L\CPL Anita Lim in the state contingent. L/CPL Marcus Chan was supposed to be carrying the Selangor state flag, but in the end, there wasn't a flag! After the Opening Ceremony, we had Band Competition with companies from all over Malaysia participating. We were all awe-struck by the coordination and choreography of the teams .

On the 2nd day, we broke into our respective platoons & squads for ice-breaking. There are altogether 10 platoons(A-J) & 10 squads each platoon. We get to make lots of new friends too! We were also supposed to have platoon telematch on that day, but because of a downpour, it was cancelled. Later, it was announced that platoon telematch was to be resumed but it was optional. By then we were all too lazy to participate in the telematch. XD At night, a singing & dancing competition was held in Dewan Sri Pinang.

For the 3rd day, we had a worship service also in Dewan Sri Pinang. There was a treasure hunt in Georgetown in the afternoon. At night, we had B Idol where Primer Chee Wah played his saxophone. During the same time, we had a mini fun fair with lots of different games including futsal.

On the 4th day, our company broke up into groups & went Exploring Penang with other companies. Pte. Cheng Feng(sq5), Pte. Kai Xian(sq3) & L/CPL Marcus(sq3) went to North West to visit a butterfly farm & lepak in Gurney Plaza where they had McD for lunch!! XD Other places included South West, Butterworth, Balik Pulau & Georgetown/Unesco. At night, we had a Route March lead by Primer Chee Wah where we marched to Komtar Dome for the Closing Ceremony and prize giving. We went back to our dorm where us Form 3 guyz took some group photos with 1st PJ Company.

LAST DAY!! we packed up and cleaned the class room where we said goodbye to our roommates from other companies. Since our bus was at 5pm, we decided to go to Queensbay Shopping Mall and watch The Karate Kid or The A-Team. We left Penang at 5pm & reached the church at around10.30pm.

We managed to make lots of new friends from all over Malaysia including other neighbouring countries like Indonesia, Hong Kong and Thailand. We also gained new experience by joining this camp. Hope to be able to join this camp again in 2012, Johor Bahru.

26th June

First of all, sry cos posted late!!

We started with parade by l/cpl anita!!..then we went for praise and worship..after that we had gemes by l/cpl anita and marcus..we had to keep folding newspapers and see wheteher we can stand on it..karmei was the winner..after that all the seniors had to fold the newspaper into the smallest fold and all find a way to stand without any1 touching the floor..the objective of the game was to stand together and have a leader to suggest something and everyone bekerjasama together..fun game, right guys? =)

Then we had capt ball and physical training practice..Avril wasnt there as she had target class..After working really hard, we finally get to beat the other squads..good job sq3 and others ^^ after that went back to church and dismissed..

-Squad leader and l/cpl Marcus chan said that we're gonna have a bowling special programme!!!! details will be posted on the next week's announcements ya!!
